The Life Groups of V.V.C.C. exist to: Connect one more person to Jesus Christ and HIS Church, and help them G.R.O.W. to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.
We desire to become a church "where nobody stands alone!" To accomplish this dream, our plan is to connect everyone attending VVCC to a Life Group where they can grow in relationship with God and with other people on a weekly basis. What is a VVCC Life Group?
A Life Group is a place where you can connect to God and other people in a relaxed, personal setting and G.R.O.W. as followers of Jesus.
When do VVCC Life Groups meet?
Groups are available almost every day of the week. For the Life Group Directory call the church office at 244-4448.
Who leads a VVCC Life Group?
VVCC Life Group leaders are members of VVCC. Your Life Group leader will be a person who sincerely cares for you, a person who will help you learn how the Bible applies to your everyday life, and a person who will encourage you to share your faith in Christ with other people.
What happens in a VVCC Life Group Meeting?
- Guiding through study of the Bible: Exploring the Bible with lots of interaction as you apply the Bible to your everyday life.
- Reaching out to others: Inviting unconnected people to Life Group meetings and activities.
- Offering loving acts of service: Meeting needs within the Life Group and in the world we live in.
- Welcoming all who come: Creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and included.
What about childcare at a VVCC Life Group?
Every VVCC Life Group decides how to handle this issue for their group. Some groups offer no child care. Other groups provide child care in another room at your meeting place or at a home close by.
What do you study in a VVCC Life Group?
Each group has the choice as to what it will study, choosing from books of the Bible, to life application studies, to topical issues.
