In mid-2015 Victor Valley Christian Church embarked on a 24 week journey to study the book of Revelation. For centuries, this final book of the Bible has proven to be difficult to understand and so unfortunately many Christians and many Church leaders have chosen to avoid or ignore its teaching.
Written in a literary style that is foreign to us today the heavy symbolism and creative imagery makes accurate interpretation of Revelation extremely difficult. Due to the difficult nature of the apocalyptic genre in which the book was written what has emerged from those who have attempted to decode and interpret the symbols, images, and contents of Revelation is a confusing, convoluted picture of what many believe will be the end of the world.
We don't want those who call VVCC home to be confused. We believe Revelation is contained within the Bible for a reason and is meant to be understood. We believe that by understanding the most misunderstood book of the Bible not only will a person's biblical knowledge increase but also that their faith in Jesus as Lord will grow as well.
