The Bible
We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible Word of God in its entirety. Existing as God's enduring message to all people the Bible speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. It alone is the sole and final source of all we believe.

God
We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He exists eternally and equally in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people, and was raised from the grave. He will return as our victorious Lord.

THe Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within those who believe in Jesus Christ. He exists as Comforter, Guide, and Advocate, and helps us become more like Jesus in thought, word, actions and character.

People
We believe people are made in the spiritual image of God to be like him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although people have tremendous potential for good an attitude of disobedience toward God, called sin, separates people from God.

salvation
We believe salvation is by grace, through faith. It is a gift from God to all people. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. We are saved from sin’s penalty by trusting in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice as God’s offer of forgiveness. We show our faith publicly through baptism by immersion.

The church
We believe the church is the community of God and the body of Christ on earth. It exists to communicate the good news of new life in Jesus Christ to the world, to teach his followers to apply his teachings, and to equip his followers for ministry. The church is made up of those who have placed their faith in Christ.

Eternity
We believe eternity is how long we were created to exist with God. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is heaven.

Marriage
We believe the term “marriage” has but one meaning: the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman for a lifetime in a single, exclusive union as described in scripture. This view of marriage was affirmed by Jesus when asked of marriage’s sanctity and permanence and is assumed by the apostle Paul. We believe God intends intimate sexual activity to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to one another. We believe any intimate sexual activity outside of the marriage of a man and a woman violates God’s standard and commandments.
